About JCG

Personal Sales Philosophy

"Listen to your prospects, customers, vendors, and the people in your network.  Figure out how to contribute to their success in big or small ways without concern for what you get in return.  Regarding prospects and clients, listen hard to understand their opportunites and concerns.  Provide intelligent, cost effective solutions when you can and refer them to someone else when you can't."

Sales & Sales Management Background

For nearly a decade prior to starting JCG Consulting, Jeff Garrison owned and operated the Garrison Organization, an executive search and consulting firm serving the property and casualty insurance industry nationwide.  He was also a nationally recognized expert and speaker in his industry. He received instruction and mentoring from some of the nations top sales trainers in the search industry.  Over the years Jeff developed business with over a dozen Fortune 500 companies and grew the firm to seven people.

"There is no sale more complex than the executive search business.  Your product is a person subject to all the whims and insecurities of being human.  Getting to a place where your candidate will disclose their needs and concerns while at the same time navigating the sales process through the labyrinth of a large insurance company is the ultimate sales challenge."

Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, Jeff spent over six years in operations management with Guide One Insurance Company in their Seattle, Denver, and West Des Moines offices.
