With People, Fast is Slow, and Slow is Fast
Fast is doing all the talking. Slow is doing most of the listening.
Fast is probing for information. Slow is listening to how people feel.
Fast is telling what you want or what you would like someone to do. Slow is asking what someone needs or what you can do for them.
Fast creates angst. Slow creates ease.
Fast creates insecurity. Slow creates trust.
Fast is selfish. Slow is selfless.
In sales, networking, influence, or any other type of relationship, Fast is Slow, and Slow is Fast.
Its a great piece of advice to the corporate people who thing that the slow workers are weak resources and bad for business. I recommend all your Articles to be circulated in corporates where they look for agressive people assuming them to be fiery leaders. Everybody cant become Hitler but a lot of us can become much more like Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Albert Einstein. Some people assume them to be introverts but I think they were good souls who inspired the masses positively.
